Se emite los días Sábados y Domingos a las 11 y 23 hora local (13 y 01 utc), con repeticiones los días domingos y lunes a las 03 horas local,05 utc.

The most interesting event from last weekend’s
program was the inaudibility, in much of North America, of the Sunday 0230-0300
UTC transmission on 5745 kHz. The signal was somewhat better in Europe. I tried
several remote receivers and finally found a good signal on a receiver in
Venezuela.
The experiment with the thirty-second tuning
signal seems to have succeeded, so we will do it again this weekend. After the
voice introduction, the MFSK32 RSID will be transmitted once. If Fldigi is not
tuned to an audio frequency near 1500 Hz, use the tuning signal to center the
tuner to the correct frequency.
The bonus mode of the week will be CW. There is
no RSID for CW, so, if you use Fldigi to help “copy” the CW, change the mode
manually. It will probably also help to set the CW transmit speed to 15 WPM so
that Fldigi receives at or near the 15 WPM used for the bonus CW transmission.

transmit a minute of MFSK64 (image of a great looking radio dial in the dark)
Saturday at about 1230 UTC on 6095 kHz, and Sunday at about 0130 UTC (Saturday
8:30 pm EST) on 7375 kHz. Both frequencies are via Germany. Send reports to

Thanks for your reports from last weekend. The
MFSK image gallery will include a dearth of pictures from the UTC Sunday 0230
transmission because of the aforementioned poor propagation. Last weekend I had
problems opening images attached to everyone’s emails, so I apologize to anyone
whose MFSK image decode was left out of the program 94 gallery.

Ed ecco disponibile, online, la domanda di partecipazione al 1° CONCORSO DI AUTOCOSTRUZIONE FIERA DI VENTURINA "IL QUARTIERE DELLE IDEE".
E' mancato ieri Achille Judica Cordiglia, il cardiologo che
ascoltava lo spazio. Con il fratello Gian Battista divenne famoso negli
anni 70 per aver intercettato i segnali provenienti dalle missioni
astronautiche sovietiche e americane.
Alla ricerca di un loop adatto alle onde medie senza troppe
pretese, di buona fattura, con un ingombro minimo dal costo contenuto ma adatto
anche a chi volesse fare un po’ ascolti in questa fantastica gamma in portatile
dopo un po’ di autocostruzioni con ottimi risultati ho provato a vedere quale
era l’offerta commerciale.
Tralasciando alcuni prodotti dalla fattura pregevole
professionale ho ripiegato sulla più comune AN-200 trovabile sia su E-Bay e
Amazon. A costi che variano da poche decine di euro a oltre un centinaio
secondo il marchio e il rivenditore. L’AN-200 è reperibile sul mercato con tre
diversi marchi Grundig, Kaito, Tecsun; io ho optato per quest’ultimo.
Leggendo su internet pare che l’elettrica dell’antenna sia
diversa da antenna a antenna; partendo un diametro di 230 mm del loop leggo su varie recensioni che le spire
dell’avvolgimento varia da 26 a 30 spire, la mia ha un avvolgimento di 30 spire
con filo di 0,8 mm; il link di accoppiamento sito nella parte interno è di 2
spire di filo dallo stesso diametro. Non smontando l’antenna non ho dati sul
condensatore variabile ma sul sito di LX1SM leggo che nella versione da lui acquistata ha un range che va da 7.74
pf a 268 pf quindi suppongo che nella mia versione si discosti di poco da
questi valori. In ogni caso l’antenna funziona egregiamente da 500 KHz a 1700
KHz.
Il loop può essere utilizzato sia per accoppiamento
induttivo avvicinandolo al ricevitore oppure, utilizzando la presa jack da 3,5
mm, con accoppiamento diretto al ricevitore in questo caso ritengo opportuno
inserire tra il ricevitore e l’antenna un preamplificatore.
Le prove effettuate hanno dato risultati soddisfacenti anche con radio modeste come il TREVI MB 709 piccolo multi banda dal costo di pochi euro.
