Radio Martí on MFSK16

Hello friends,

Starting tonight, Radio Martí will transmit a minute of MFSK16 centered on 2500 Hz, daily, according to the following schedule:

0558:40 UTC               1180  6030  7405 kHz

0758:40 UTC               1180  5980  6030 kHz

0858:40 UTC               1180  5980  6030 kHz

Each transmission is 57 seconds.

The 1180 kHz is medium wave, from the Florida Keys. The shortwave frequencies (5980, 6030, and 7405 kHz) are all via North Carolina.

You will probably hear noise on the frequency.

Recordings of your reception would be appreciated.

The email address for reception reports is included in the text transmission, but if you are not able to decode it, just send the report to radiogram@voanews.com.

IA/IZ3SUS Antartica - Concordia Research Station

Dear Friends,
From February 2014 to November 2014 I'll be operating from Concordia research station, in Antarctica, where I'll overwinter.

From Wikipedia:
Concordia Research Station, which opened in 2005, is a research facility that was built 3233m above sea level at a location called Dome C on the Antarctic Plateau, Antarctica. It is located 1,100km inland from the French research station at Dumont D'Urville, 1100km inland from Australia's Casey Station and 1200km inland from the Italian Zucchelli Station at Terra Nova Bay. Russia's Vostok Station is 560km away. The Geographic South Pole is 1670km away.
Concordia Station is the third permanent, all-year research station on the Antarctic Plateau besides Vostok Station (Russian) and the Amundsen-Scott Station (USA) at the Geographic South Pole. It is jointly operated by scientists from France and Italy.

The call sign I'll use is: IA/IZ3SUS.

Some data about the station:
Local time: UTC+8
WAP reference: MNB-03 (Multi National Base)

I'll operate every Friday between 17:00 and 18:00 UTC, working at 14333 kHz (no split unless specified, check the cluster).

Gianni I1HYW will be my QSL manager during my stay in Antarctica.

Cari Amici,

.
Alcuni dati relativi alla stazione:

Ora locale: UTC + 8
Riferimento WAP: MNB-03 (Base Nazionale Multi)

Io opero ogni Venerdì 17:00-18:00 UTC, lavorando a 14333 kHz (senza split, controllate gli spot il cluster).

Gianni I1HYW è il mio QSL-Manager durante il mio soggiorno in Antartide.

SunSDR-MB1 Transceiver

UP Converter UP-100 LNA4HF e LNA

UP-100      Up Converter (oscillatore 100 MHz)
LNA4HF     Preamplificatore RF 150 KHz-30 MHz, Gain 18/20 dB, NF 1-2 dB
LNA4ALL   Preamplificatore RF 28 MHz-2500MHz, gain max 23 db (144 e 432 MHz)

XIONE - SDR 100 KHz - 1,7 GHz

Alcuni filmati dimostrativi.
